First Line:
On both sides of the world the Savior taught that to have abundant life here on earth and everlasting life in heaven, we must look to him.

My Thoughts:
I purchased this book for several reasons.  What really caught my eye was the cover.  I have always envisioned Jesus as a happy and smiling person.  I love this cover because it shows just that.  This is a great book, with a lot of insight, stories and scriptures.  Wonderful read!

Favorite Quote:
Scientist inform us that if we could position ourselves right in the center (the eye) of a hurricane, with fierce turbulence all around us, we could sit quietly reading the day's newspaper.  It is perfectly calm at the center.  So it is with the life of true disciples: though the evils of the world, and even our own saintly trials, rage around us, if we keep the Savior at the center of our lives, we can feel perfect serenity, his kind of peace, immediately around us." pg. 48
